2014 International CES
The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) was held in Las Vegas from Tuesday, January 7 through Friday, January 10, 2014 (www.cesweb.org).
The show is produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA, www.ce.org), which reports that CES is the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, and the largest tradeshow of any kind in North America.
The International CES also is the world’s largest annual innovation event, encompassing products
and services from 15 product categories:

- Automotive electronics
- Computer hardware & software
- Connected home
- Content distribution
- Digital health & fitness
- Digital imaging / photography
- Electronic gaming
- Emerging technology
- Entertainment / content
- Internet-based multimedia services

This year's show again had over 150,000 attendees, including more than 35,000 from outside the United States. There were over 3,200 exhibitors in a record 2 million net square feet of exhibit space.
Hot topics included curved and flexible Ultra HD TVs and next generation smart phones to drones, robots, sensors, the Internet of Everything, Hi-Res audio, connected cars and 3D printers.
